These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FocusCapsule ("FocusCapsule", "we", "us", "our"), a productivity application that helps you plan with intent, work in focused sessions, and review your progress. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
FocusCapsule provides focus and productivity tools, including a daily planning ritual, timed focus capsules, a distraction parking lot, energy logging, personalized insights, live focus rooms, and a shutdown and weekly review. Features may be added, changed, or removed over time as the service evolves.
You must be at least 16 years old to use FocusCapsule. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as the Merchant of Record for all purchases. This means Paddle is the seller of record, handles the transaction, issues your receipt, and is responsible for collecting and remitting applicable taxes such as VAT or sales tax. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's buyer terms presented at checkout.
You can cancel a monthly plan at any time and keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

You keep ownership of the content and data you create in FocusCapsule, such as tasks, reflections, and session history. You grant us a limited license to store and process this data only to operate and provide the service to you.
FocusCapsule, including its software, design, and brand, remains our property. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or intellectual property.
FocusCapsule relies on third party providers, including Paddle for payments, Supabase for authentication and data storage, and Vercel for hosting. Your use of the service may also be subject to the terms of these providers. We are not responsible for the practices of third party services outside our control.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. FocusCapsule is a productivity tool and does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice. We do not guarantee any specific outcome from using the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FocusCapsule will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm other users or the service itself. You can request deletion of your account by contacting us at the email below.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the application. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when these Terms were last revised. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
